Julia Koert joined Forbush Legal in 2024 after earning her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. She leads our Probate and Trust Administration department, where she is honored to guide families through some of life’s most difficult seasons with compassion and thoughtful legal counsel. Before beginning her legal career, Julia served as an active-duty officer in the United States Air Force for seven years. She continues her service as a Reservist at Peterson Air Force Base, driven by the same core values of integrity, duty, and commitment to others that now guide her work in probate and trust administration.

Julia’s passion for estate planning and administration is deeply rooted in her desire to serve. Whether navigating probate or administering a trust, she is dedicated to making complex legal issues understandable and helping families find peace of mind during challenging times. Outside of work, Julia enjoys exploring the beautiful state of Colorado with her husband, Anthony, and their crazy but loving dog, Beau.
